Concept
Adapting the philosophy of our studio for interior design competition
The proposed design for both apartments is based on the following principles:
  1. Maximum functionality of every square meter. Custom-made furniture allows for the full utilization of the available space potential, accommodating various usage scenarios.
  2. Less is more. A comfortable interior is not just about furniture and decor; it's also about having enough air and space. Our proposed interior looks light and appealing because it is not overloaded with unnecessary elements.
  3. Subtle yet voluminous storage systems. Built-in closets that blend with the wall color maximize the use of small spaces while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic.
  4. Special attention is given to the kitchen, as it is the most intensively used area. Despite its external simplicity, the kitchen cabinets retain their functionality. Hidden pull-out drawers help efficiently organize all necessary items.
  5. We don't compromise on porcelain stoneware as a finishing element, as it is the most challenging material to replace. Future apartment owners can easily change furniture or repaint walls. Replacing porcelain stoneware is a labor-intensive and costly task, so the material should be both high-quality and expensive.
  6. Evenly distributed fixtures, combined with spot decorative lighting, enable various lighting scenarios and provide adequate illumination to every corner of the space.
  7. Minimalism in the details. Hidden doors and plinths help maintain cleanliness and simplicity in the created space. The P-shaped profile, used for joining different floor coverings at the same level, serves the same purpose. Thoughtfully designed junctions distinguish good design. An apartment with a design meticulously worked out to the smallest details will pleasantly surprise future owners and won't leave even the most attentive and experienced individuals indifferent

Apartment "Bright start"

Designed for young, active, and energetic individuals, this apartment features a serene finish with natural wood accents, combined with vibrant highlights, creating a harmonious space.
Subtle color speckles on the floor tiles echo the larger colorful accents on the walls. This interior is filled with life and freshness.
The space is multifunctional, yet the apartment isn't cluttered with elements; everything has its place and serves its purpose.
The casing of heating pipes and radiators forms a windowsill bench in the apartment, which also serves as a bedside table.
In the bathroom, additional storage systems are organized to prevent the space from becoming overcrowded with elements during use.
The apartment has everything necessary for living, yet nothing superfluous.
The design of this apartment creates an atmosphere of joy, freedom, and inspiration

Two-room apartment “Balance Point”

Designed for busy professionals who value their time and pay special attention to moments of relaxation, this apartment's chosen color palette helps create a soothing atmosphere. Elements of Japanese style transport us to Eastern philosophy, encouraging us to savor moments of tranquility and inner harmony.

The apartment's layout allows for additional storage systems to be organized, offering the future owner a pleasant bonus of an expanded kitchen and living room without compromising the functionality of the entryway.

The bathroom is designed as a zone of relaxation and solitude, where everything unnecessary is eliminated. The proposed arrangement of elements in the bathroom allows for extra storage systems while remaining faithful to the principles of minimalism, ensuring the space doesn't appear cluttered. The use of a built-in steel bathtub allows for the application of current trends in ceramic tile installation. The ceramic tiles are placed on the edge of the bathtub without the use of silicone or decorative corners, ensuring a clean and sleek look. Access to utilities is provided through a concealed tile-covered hatch, further enhancing the feeling of a clean and uncluttered space.

Special attention is given to the living room's layout. The organization of a full-size wardrobe allows for a more flexible arrangement of furniture elements in this zone and provides additional space utilization scenarios. The casing of the radiator serves as a bedside table on one side and, in combination with a bookshelf, creates a library area. Additionally, a work area is organized in the bedroom, suitable for setting up a laptop or using this element as a vanity table.
