Two-level apartment in the village of Lisiy Nos
Interior design project for a mezzanine apartment
In this project, two apartments were combined into one large living space. High ceilings allowed for a full second floor, maximizing the use of space. The configuration of load-bearing structures and the placement of utilities had a significant impact on the layout of this project
We achieved comfortable zoning and installed a convenient, well-lit staircase, along with ample storage spaces. The apartment's color scheme is particularly interesting. The clients, a young couple, had different preferences when it came to interior styles. On one hand, there was a desire for a minimalist interior in the Bauhaus tradition, and on the other hand, a cozy and vibrant Boho-style interior was desired to allow for future additions of new decorative elements. Choosing just one direction was challenging, so we decided to create a unique solution by blending elements of both styles within the same apartment
From Bauhaus, the interior retained basic white walls, abundant natural light, a minimal selection of furniture, and a functional layout. From Boho, the interior incorporated an abundance of plants, vibrant textiles, and a mix of furniture styles. Additionally, both styles were united through colorful accents in furniture, walls, and tiling. Each child's room was designed with their age and preferences in mind, utilizing loft spaces for relaxation. In the master bedroom, instead of a bright color scheme, a deep, rich, and dark ceiling was used to create a relaxing atmosphere. The concept of blending styles and uniting them with vibrant color accents continued in the bathroom interiors
