Not only a sport club
The two-level space of the sports club was conceived not just as a place for workouts, but as a cozy home club, a venue for friendly gatherings, a place for people to connect who share a love for physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and of course, squash

The first stage of construction

The interior of the first level of the sports club is characterized by the use of the natural decorative qualities of load-bearing structures. We exposed concealed concrete columns, removed the shellstone tiles from the building's concrete ribs, revealing the natural, rugged texture of the material. Large, warm, tactile surfaces with wooden textures soften the overall loft-style aesthetic of the space. Abundant greenery fills the interior with freshness
Special attention should be paid to the buffer zone formed along the solid walls of the courts. The court wall itself is fragmented, with a slight fan-like opening, adding dynamism to the perception. Opposite the wall, beneath the windows, is a long bench with integrated tables. In contrast to the large, bright common area of the club, the locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and saunas are designed in muted, dark tones. In the interiors of these areas, we aimed for maximum simplicity and spatial cleanliness

The second stage of construction
The second level of the October sports club houses two training zones. There is a group workout room, a massage room, a CrossFit area, and the club director's office

The versatility of the group workout room is ensured by a metal framework mounted to the ceiling for accommodating special equipment (TRX, aerial yoga). The design includes various lighting scenarios. Lighting in the built-in plinth allows for aesthetically pleasing and comfortable Yoga and Pilates sessions. In the massage room, a relaxing and immersive atmosphere sets the stage for relaxation. An intriguing golden-thread curtain screen defines the visitor's area, adding a unique touch to the room's design

The design of the CrossFit space continues the theme of decorative textures found in the structural materials used on the first floor of the sports club. All new partitions are constructed from brick, increasing the functionality of the walls due to their load-bearing capacity, while their natural texture adds warm accents
